Hannah
Hi, you may remember me, I'm Hannah, the 7 year old pug from Germany who has traveled the world and who has a flair for hats! Foster mom says that I am healthy enough now to start looking for the perfect forever home. She says I am a saucy little gal who loves people and wants more than anything to sit in your lap while you watch TV, and to sleep in the big bed at night and live a life of utmost leisure. Dr. Gulikers has fallen in love with me through my treatments for my paralyzed larynx, and he and Dr. Bayers said I need to live in a quiet home, in a low stress environment and to stay cool. They say that my quality of life is very good, although I have to take a few pills every day to help my breathing. When I first came to my foster home, I rarely lifted my head and my tail had forgotten how to waggle. Now I hold my head up high and waggle my tail all the time, because I have found happiness again. The other day I bossed foster mama from way across the house to come and pick up a little flower petal on the floor that I could not quite get at with my teeth. So you see, I am comfortable taking a leadership position in any given situation. I would prefer to live with a relaxed brother or two, although my foster sis and I do okay most of the time. I just prefer to be surrounded by boy pugs because they make such great pillows. I love children, but doctor says I cannot live in a house with small children or grandchildren who visit or play loudly. I love my doggy door at the foster home and I like to patrol my back yard and make sure no vagrant butterflies or noisy birds are afoot. When I come back in from doing my guard duty, foster mommy says I always look quite pleased with myself for taking care of these situations for the team. There will be quite a few folks wanting to adopt me since I am a bilingual puggy with an eye for fashion, so hurry and get your application in! (Photo by www.jennyfroh.com)
