Hi, I’m Delanie, the pug of your dreams. I am about 6 years old. I am spayed, house broken, and know some basic obedience commands. Did I mention I am house broken? My Mom says I’m a big-boned girl tipping the scales at 22 lbs, but I’m not really too overweight. I am looking for a forever and ever and ever home.
Likes: Food, going to Sonic with my Mom and getting my very own Sonic ice, treats, Pill Pockets, food, drinking water out of my very special pink bowl, semi-long walks (My Mom thinks I have the cutest waddle and even has a little song about that, but let’s not go there!), giving boisterous kisses, car rides, my toy du jour, food, sleeping under covers with Mom, sitting on Mom’s lap while she plays on the computer, or laying on the key board ledge, lots of love and attention, and food!
Dislikes: strangers when my persons aren’t around, getting my toe nails clipped, wet grass, being carried, living with other dogs.
Medical issues: I have dry-eye in both eyes, though the left is worse. I get three different medications, three times per day. This is embarrassing, but I also have an incontinence problem due to being spayed and lack of estrogen, so I leak from time to time. I am on a daily medicine that controls the leakage pretty well. I also have itchy skin and take Benedryl twice per day. Mom says I’m pretty good about getting my eye meds, although it’s not my most favorite activity in the whole world.
Needs: I need a forever home where I am the ONLY dog forever and ever. Other dogs in the home really make me crazy and I cannot deal with it. Mom says I could stay with her forever if she didn’t have the other “kids.” A home where there is a routine I can depend on with at least one nice lady who can become my new Mom would be best for me. I love my Dad here too, but I look for Mom all the time.
