Hello world!  My name is Polly but my foster mom calls me Peanut ‘cause I’m tiny like one.   I’m 8 years old and around 11 pounds (her guess is I’m a mix of pug and pekingese but who knows for certain as I was found on the streets of Dallas).  I’m a little doll and you’ll never guess what I love more than anything else – mud puddles!  Yes, you read that right – I love to dig in mud puddles.  More than once, I’ve gotten myself entirely covered in mud and foster mom had to give me an extra bath – but it was so much fun it was worth it!  (If you look at my pictures closely you might see dirt on my face – I “might” have been digging in the dirt the day my foster mom tried to take pictures).  Another picture day, I had sawdust on my face – ha.  What can I say?  I’m a curious little girl and like to sniff out everything.  I’m house trained and don’t take any medications although I do have a little hitch in my giddy-up (meaning I have a little stutter step in my back legs).  The first time my foster mom called for me, I came running to her with my tail wagging.  She was so shocked you could have knocked her over with a feather (ha – a little joke about pug stubbornness).  I get along with all my pug foster brothers and sisters and mind very well .  Are you looking for an adorable (if I do say so myself) new sidekick?  Ask for Polly on your application today!
