For five-year-old Pikels, every day is Tongue Out Tuesday! The only thing bigger than her tongue is her heart, as she is outgoing and affectionate with humans and other dogs alike. Her manners are impeccable, and she is fully housetrained, eats politely, and walks nicely on a leash. Pikels’ greatest passion is playtime – she loves romping around with the other dogs in her foster home and if toys are involved, even better! No toy goes unplayed with in Pikels’ presence. Her ideal forever home would include attentive humans and at least one other social canine friend.

DFWPRC is one of the largest pug rescue organizations in the United States and has rescued and placed thousands of pugs. We rescue all purebred pugs regardless of age or medical condition. At least 90% of our annual expenses are for veterinary care.
