Bernie
1 year old male
Story
One year-old Bernie is a laid back, sweet boy who can be shy at first when meeting new people and dogs. He is coming out of his shell and already made great of progress, he now cuddles with the other pugs and is exceptionally loving, patient and gentle with his foster family’s 1-year-old daughter. Bernie is house-trained, eats politely at mealtime, and walks beautifully on a leash. He loves all toys, especially Yak bones, and sleeps in the bed with his humans. We aren’t sure if he’s crate-trained or how he is with cats. Bernie would thrive in a patient home with a loving family who will let him set the pace and celebrate his every step forward. He would do well with respectful children and could be an only dog or with a calm, friendly dog who could help show him the ropes. If you are looking for a good-natured companion, Bernie might be the pug for you!
