Story

1.5-year-old Champion is a fawn, gentle young boy who enjoys exploring the world calmly and curiously. This sweet, thoughtful pug loves plush toys (though they don’t last long!) and happily greets new dogs and people with his easygoing charm. While he enjoys cuddles, he’s not overly clingy—just the perfect balance of affectionate and independent. Champion is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent mealtime manners—he eats his meals without rushing and happily shares space around food and treats. He’s still working on settling quietly after being released from his crate, but he’s learning more each day. Champion would thrive in a home with another friendly dog companion, as he truly enjoys canine company. Because he can experience a bit of separation anxiety at first, a home where someone is around often would help him continue building confidence. All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
