Cheney
7 year old male
Story
7-year-old Cheney is a fawn, gentle boy who enjoys quiet companionship and cozy cuddle time with his favorite people. Though shy at first, once he warms up, he becomes playful, affectionate, and incredibly loving. Cheney especially enjoys chewing on toys and relaxing close to his humans—snuggles are definitely his specialty. Cheney is crate-trained and sleeps well in his kennel at night, though he happily joins his people in bed if invited. He has good mealtime manners and is an enthusiastic eater. Cheney walks on leash but can be a little timid, so he’ll do best with a patient walking buddy who helps him build confidence. He currently wears a belly band while continuing to improve his marking habits. Cheney gets along with other calm dogs but would also be happy as the only pet soaking up attention. Because he can be nervous around men and sudden movements, he would thrive in a quiet, patient home. If you’re looking for a loyal cuddle companion with a tender heart, Cheney is ready to find his safe forever home.
