Story

Two-year-old Danilo is a gentle, fawn boy with a calm soul and a big heart for his people. Once shy and anxious, he’s blossomed into a true cuddle bug who loves staying close to his favorite human—snuggling, hanging out, and quietly keeping you company. Danilo is friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company. Bones are his favorite pastime (especially ones bigger than he is!), and he’s proud of his growing list of manners—he knows sit and is learning stay.  Danilo is crate-trained and sleeps soundly in his crate at night, often choosing it for naps during the day. He’s improving with house training and does best with regular potty breaks and positive reinforcement (treats help!). He walks nicely on a leash and has polite mealtime manners. Danilo would thrive in a calm home with adults or older kids, where doors are managed carefully and someone is around often. He’d be happy as an only dog or with a friendly canine companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate shadow, Danilo is ready to steal your heart.

All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
