Story

12-year-old Darrell is a gentle, laid-back black gentleman who enjoys cozy naps and leisurely strolls. This sweet senior still has plenty of life left—he loves his people, knows exactly when it’s dinnertime, and happily joins in playtime with older kids. Darrell is house-trained, crate-trained (his preferred sleeping spot), and walks nicely on leash. He has great manners, takes treats gently, and even knows commands like “sit.” He enjoys snuggling with soft toys and being close to his humans—whether in bed or nearby. He’s kind and curious around other dogs and would be happy as an only dog or with a calm companion. In new environments, he may need a little guidance as he settles in. All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
