Fonda
4 year old female
Story
Four-year-old Fonda is a sensitive, and playful little lady who’s learning to trust the world at her own pace. Once a wild girl, Fonda has settled beautifully into home life, she’s housebroken, crate-trained, and has lovely mealtime manners, politely eating from her own bowl and respecting her foster siblings.
Fonda’s favorite pastime is playing indoor fetch and stashing toys in her crate like a tiny pirate. She loves being outside, but only if you’re right there beside her, companionship is key. She enjoys following other dogs around and would thrive either as a solo pug or with a calm canine buddy to show her the ropes. We don’t know how she is with children or cats.
Fonda is learning how to walk on a leash and is steadily gaining confidence. She prefers not to be called, she’ll come to you when she’s ready and loud noises or sudden movements can startle her. With patience, consistency, and love, this sweet girl continues to blossom.
Fonda would do best in a calm home with someone who is home often and understands that she’s a work in progress, but a very rewarding one.
Looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart? Fonda might just be your perfect match.
