5-year-old Otis Paul is a black, gentle little gentleman who enjoys staying close to his people and relaxing wherever the household gathers. A true Velcro-pug at heart, he’s affectionate and loyal, but also calm and well-mannered. Otis is easygoing with other dogs and quickly settles into new environments—his foster calls him the easiest foster they’ve ever had! Otis is 100% house-trained, crate-trained (though it’s not his favorite), and has wonderful manners around the house. He’s polite at mealtime, shares toys nicely, and especially enjoys rummaging through the stuffed animal basket. He walks reasonably well on leash, knows basic commands and is always eager to please. Because he’s so gentle and lightweight, Otis would do well in many homes—perhaps with children, as a companion to another friendly dog, or even as a beloved only pup for someone who wants a loyal shadow. All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
