Story
Six-year-old Turo is a happy, active fawn boy with a joyful spirit and a big love for his people. He enjoys being near his humans, playing with his pug brothers, and keeping life fun and upbeat. Turo has an infectious enthusiasm—especially at mealtime—and responds well to gentle training and routine. Turo is house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping comfortably in his crate at night. He sometimes marks, so he wears a belly band indoors, which works well for him. He eats from a slow feeder bowl and has good mealtime manners, although he gets is curious about the contents of other’s bowls. Turo loves soft stuffed and crinkly toys and walks well on a leash. Turo gets along with dogs and cats and would thrive in home with another friendly canine companion or as an only dog if he had someone home with him often. He’s working through mild separation anxiety and is making great progress. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who thrives on connection, Turo might be for you!

All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup.
