Story

Twelve-year-old Wendell is a gentle, Velcro pug who just wants to be close to his person. Slowing down a little with age, he still enjoys short walks, rolling in the grass, and lounging on cool tile floors. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his own bed beside yours or in a crate with the door open. Wendell is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has wonderful mealtime manners. He doesn’t need any special food or medications, just love, attention, and a soft place to rest. While he doesn’t play with toys, he is content simply being near his person and soaking up affection. Active, high-energy dogs can make him anxious, so he’d be happiest as an only dog or in a calm home with laidback companions. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal senior who will be your constant shadow, Wendell is the perfect match.

All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.  We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup.
