Story

Twelve-year-old Wendell is a gentle, fawn gentleman with the soul of a devoted companion. This sweet senior pug is quiet, polite, and happiest when he can nap close to his person — preferably in a cozy bed beside your chair or curled up nearby on the floor.  Wendell is completely house-trained, walks calmly on a leash, and enjoys easy strolls around the block. He has excellent manners at mealtime, even making the cutest little whimper when he knows dinner is coming. He’s not food aggressive and will kindly let another dog take a bite if they insist.  Because Wendell is timid and easily intimidated by other pets, he’d be happiest as the only dog in a calm, loving home. He has mild arthritis and a heart murmur that don’t require medication, but he does benefit from a daily joint supplement.  If you’re looking for a kindhearted, low-maintenance friend to share quiet moments and unconditional love, Wendell might just be your perfect match.

All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.  We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup.
