12 year old female

Story

Twelve-year-old Darla is a sweet, black pug with a tender heart who thrives on companionship. She can be a little shy at first, but with gentle pets, scratches, and attention, she quickly relaxes and shows her affectionate side. Her favorite activities include napping, chewing on small bones, and following her people around the house. Darla is house-trained, eats meals politely, and walks nicely on a leash. She is crate-trained at night and gets along well with both dogs and cats, though she prefers quiet companionship over rowdy play. Because she can get lonely, she’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the day or with another calm pet for company. She is currently on an antibiotic and a medication for her liver, and may have some hearing loss, but that doesn’t stop her from being a loving, loyal shadow. If you’re looking for a gentle senior who will adore being by your side, Darla is your girl!
