5-year-old Salem is an 18-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart devoted to her people. This shy Velcro girl may be protective of her person at first, but once she feels secure, her affectionate side shines. Her love languages are words of affirmation and physical touch—especially belly rubs! Salem is house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, has excellent mealtime manners, and sleeps in bed or nearby in her favorite chair. She loves human companionship and prefers canine friends who respect her space, so she’d thrive as an only dog or possibly with a laid-back senior companion. All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
