Expected Time Commitment: Leadership roles require a more consistent commitment. Directors typically volunteer around 20 hours per week, Managers 10-15 hours per week, and Coordinators and Leads around 10 hours per week. All other volunteer opportunities offer flexible schedules based on your availability and the needs of the role.
Other ways to volunteer
Our rescue is powered by the dedication of individuals who graciously volunteer their time, open their homes, and pour their hearts into making a difference. If you can’t commit to a role above, there are still so many ways to volunteer the time you’re comfortable with.
Adoptions: process applications, help with home visits or vet checks, & pug matchmaking
Fosters: coordinate foster home placements, process applications, coordinate respite sitters, transport to foster homes
Events & Fundraisers: help set up & tear down booths, work booth sales, merch table, or check in, take pictures and videos, help plan
Transportation: help transport pugs to and from vets, foster homes, respite sitters, CuppaPug, events, and intake appointments. Some transports may also involve traveling out of state to partner rescues.
