4-year-old Smug is an 18-pound brindle sweetheart with a playful spirit, gentle heart, and classic Velcro personality. He loves chewing on durable toys, rolling in the grass, singing when dinner is served, and ending the day with a full-body snuggle on the couch—sometimes he even purrs when he’s truly content! Smug is crate trained, eats politely when fed separately, and is making great progress with house training. He gets along well with other dogs but would also thrive as an only pet with someone home often to soak up all his affection. Because he’s still polishing his potty skills and can occasionally get overexcited around another dog, patient guidance will help him shine. Ready for endless cuddles? Smug is waiting just for you!

All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
