Story

7-year-old Legend is a sweet, easygoing fawn boy with a playful spark and a heart full of love. He adapts quickly to new people and places, enjoys playtime, and then happily settles in for cozy cuddles—especially on the couch or by your feet. Legend is house-trained, leash-trained, and a respectful eater with no food aggression. He’s free-roam trustworthy and sleeps soundly in bed with his humans. He enjoys plush toys (especially Lamb Chop!), puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and a good chew like a Nylabone. He would do well in a home as either an only dog or with canine companions, and would thrive with someone who enjoys a relaxed, affectionate companion. He hasn’t met children yet but has a gentle, adaptable nature. He may need occasional eye lubricant, and sometimes bunny hop if his back legs feel weak while they regain strength. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend—Legend lives up to his name.

All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
