Story
7-year-old Pokey is a tenderhearted, snuggly, and adorably expressive little pug who just wants to be wherever YOU are, and yes, that means following you into the bathroom.
He loves lounging in a cozy dog bed with his favorite toy (which he adorably sucks on like a pacifier), curling up on the couch next to his people, or showing off his playful side with short bursts of zoomies. He may be 7, but Pokey's got plenty of pep in his step!
Pokey is house-trained, but occasional oopsies happen, crate-trained, and eats politely with his foster siblings. He does great at sharing his toys, even his favorite ones! He’s also great with other dogs, but more than anything, he just wants your love and attention, so someone home most of the day would be his dream home.
He would do well in a home with or without other dogs, and while he hasn’t been around kids regularly, he’s proven to be a sweetheart with all visitors. A fenced yard would be ideal so he can safely explore while he continues building his leash confidence. Pokey takes daily eye drops like a champ, and is so smart and learns routines quickly.
