Crystle – Crystle is now living with her new family…and DFWPRC volunteer and past adopter, Scott. Scott works hard to handle our Instagram account and just fell in love with Crystle when her picture and bio came across his email. Virgo – Foster failure alert! Virgo, one of the puppy mill pugs, will be spending the rest of her days living with foster mom, Shelley, and her pack. Be sure to get your t-shirt, Shelley! Hooray for Virgo!
Lil’ Brutus – Another foster failure alert! Lil’ Brutus’ foster dad, Lawrence, knew pretty quickly that this sweet boy was his. They are doing great! Congrats, Lawrence and Lil’ Brutus!
Hank Hill – Hank Hill is now living with his new family (and past DFWPRC adopters) in McKinney. This good-natured boy is doing great and fitting right in. Thank you foster mom, Emily, for taking such great care of him. Off you go, Hank Hill!
Lucille Ball and Lily Tomlin – Lucille Ball and Lily Tomlin are now living with their new mom and dad in Lantana. These 2 lovely girls are having a ball and doing very well on their road to weight loss. Thank you foster mom, Abby, for taking such great care of them and doing the home visit. Finn – Finn is now living with his new mom and dad and pug sister, Banana, in Dallas. He name is now Barney and he’s doing great! Banana and Barney play well and all is well. Sambuca and Hitch – Sambuca and Hitch are now living with their new dad and 11-year-old pug brother in Hallettsville. This very sweet man wanted to adopt 2 male pugs after losing his other pug a year ago due to a stroke. This long-time pug guy knows that pugs are best in groups! So, we matched him up with 2 sweet boys…Sambuca and Hitch. They are doing great and are loving living with their awesome dad. Mistah Capone – Mistah Capone is now living with his new mom in Dallas. His new mom has been volunteering for us doing home visits, but had never adopted. She recently decided that she needed a pug of her very own, but thought that she wanted a younger pug. So, when volunteer Tracy came to do her home visit, she brought along her foster pug, Mistah Capone…just to bring along a pug. But, it was love at first sight! When Tracy left with Capone, the adopter called and said…he’s the one! So, they were reunited the next day and it’s been great ever since! Thank you, Tracy, for getting Capone ready for his forever home and doing this home visit. Way to go, Mistah Capone!
Pee Wee – Another foster failure alert! Pee Wee, now know as Chicken, has joined Katie and Waffles (another foster failure….yes, Chicken and Waffles….LOVE IT!) as an official member of the Canavan pack! When Chicken (Pee Wee) came to their house to be fostered, Waffles was in heaven…so that’s it! Congrats, Katie, Chicken and Waffles! Looks like you need a Foster Failure shirt in each color!
Van Damme – Van Damme is now living with his new mom and dad in Grapevine. This couple was looking for a young pug to welcome into their family and Van Damme fit the bill! Rene – Rene is now living with her new family in Keithville, LA. This past adopter saw Rene on our website and knew that she needed to meet her. It was love! PJ – PJ is now living with his new family in White Settlement. This rescue-loving family wanted to adopt a senior guy that could keep up with thier pack and PJ was their boy. She has already mapped their hom and their old man pug spends his days doting on Beautiful and showing her the way. She has even mastered the doggie door! They are so proud of their special girl.
